The Role
Very enjoyable, hard work, but rewarding. Very friendly team.
I felt valued by some members, and less so by others. But the ones that I felt valued by, far outweighed the negative.
The management communication has been poor, however they delegated to very capable people who took on the role of 'manager' very well.
Constantly had work to do, but it was managable, and any time that I felt over run with work, it was a case of my poor time management rather than anything else.
I had a pretty crucial project that actually added value to the team, which gave me a lot of responsibility.
A BlackRock internship is pretty tough and you are heavily criticised, but that also teaches you a lot. Skiils I have learnt include better team work and learning to be more self confident.
The Company
Very good 'banter'
Thoroughly and well organised, from interviews to leaving doos!
Absolutely, lots of training and investment in the interns, very impressive. we have had IT courses and personality evaluations etc.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
You certainly need to cut the mustard here, and it is more about 'fit' than what you are capable of doing, so make sure you know the company culture before applying.
The Culture
