The Role
A very enjoyable internship within a very large organization and plenty to learn.
The team was very helpful in answering all questions, even when they did not relate to my own work. Had plenty of support from my manager and my colleagues
My manager was very supportive in terms of letting me shadow people across the organization and giving me honest and clear feedback, pointing out my strengths and weaknesses. I cannot recall a single time when I felt he was unapproachable.
While the early weeks were not very busy due to the time taken to set up, as time went on I was quite busy between my projects, networking events and an assessed presentation.
Haven't really had the chance to see this, but I feel more confident in my abilities now and have learnt much about IT in the real world.
The Company
Quite a fun office atmosphere with some team lunches and such.
It was well organized in terms of a clear goal to start induction and finish with exit interviews.
There was a lot of investment in the training programme and outside organizations were hired to introduce us to the firm.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
It is a very interesting time to join the group, a lot of effort is being put in from the top in recruiting the best talent and after recent lows the only way is up for the firm.
The Culture
Yes
London's fairly expensive, though it was reasonable given my pay.
Didnt really explore
London's got a lot to offer for any taste.
