The Role
There was a diverse range of jobs and tasks with which I could get involved, developing my skills as an engineer
Everyone was very friendly and helpful
My manager and mentor were very helpful and always made sure I had work to do
Most days I had a constant flow of work, some days there was lots of work and it became a little hectic
I was given full responsibility for some projects on placement along with the opportunity to participate in some more complex projects
I feel that I have learned a great deal of important engineering and communication skills which will be useful for future jobs and life!
The Company
Sometimes it was very lively but there were a few days when it was quite quiet
The majority of work and projects was well organised, although there was one undergraduate project that could have been organised a bit better
Whenever I asked for training from Millbrook they provided me with the training - I have learnt a great deal from them!
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen

International Travel
Company Parties/Events
Overall a very good place to work, although I might like to work in another department to see how other parts of the proving ground work and to further my engineering knowledge
The Culture
All the undergraduates were friendly and often had meetups outside of work
I commuted in every day, but on the days when I came to the area to socialise it seemed fairly good value
OK, but I live next door to London so for me the nightlife is better in London!
There were plenty of outings and nights out which were organised by a few of the undergraduates for me to get involved in
