The Role
It was challenging to start with, which made it enjoyable. However there was not always much to do so it could be boring at times.
Students were integral to the organisation so we were valued.
Managers were very good, however they were out of the office alot at external meetings so not always there when you needed.
I would either be really busy, or really bored, it wasn't often just right!
I had the oppurtunity to run my own projects which was great.
Looks great on my CV and will help me in getting a graduate job.
The Company
It was very friendly in the area where I worked.
Has been running for several years and was well organised.
I attended quite a lot of training which was great, computer courses wise, and also on the drugs that I was marketing.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
It is a good organisation to work for, with lots of perks, however not the most challenging of jobs.
The Culture
30+ students there in a year so great for student life - was similar to uni as we were always out!
Cost similar to uni.
Not great, but london only 40 mins away on train.
Some, through the sports and social club, also a netball team which one of the placement students organised.
