    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • It was challenging to start with, which made it enjoyable. However there was not always much to do so it could be boring at times.

  • Students were integral to the organisation so we were valued.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Managers were very good, however they were out of the office alot at external meetings so not always there when you needed.

  • I would either be really busy, or really bored, it wasn't often just right!

  • I had the oppurtunity to run my own projects which was great.

  • Looks great on my CV and will help me in getting a graduate job.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • It was very friendly in the area where I worked.

  • Has been running for several years and was well organised.

  • I attended quite a lot of training which was great, computer courses wise, and also on the drugs that I was marketing.

  • It is a good organisation to work for, with lots of perks, however not the most challenging of jobs.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • 30+ students there in a year so great for student life - was similar to uni as we were always out!

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Cost similar to uni.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Not great, but london only 40 mins away on train.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Some, through the sports and social club, also a netball team which one of the placement students organised.
