The Role
Challenging tasks that were of value to the company, it wasn't a matter of just being given meaningless tasks.
Everyone was grateful that i was doing tasks they didn't have time to complete.
A lot of support from everyone including managers, a buddy, a senior advisor and a mentor.
Everyday was busy and i had things to fill up my day.
A lot of responsibility, some of the projects i worked on were very important to the department.
Learnt to network and do practical things.
The Company
The office was often lively and energetic.
Very structured, we had different events aimed at networking, talking to senior management and my tasks got harder as time went by.
A lot took of on the job training as well as online courses.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
The company is constantly changing and new opportunities constantly come up, there is also the opportunity to move to parts of the world for a space of time.
The Culture
There was always something going on for interns whether organised by the company or by interns.
I live in the same city as the placement as a student so the cost of living was not an issue for me.
A wide range of bars and clubs to choose from.
There is also a volunteering and social events dedicated site.
