The Role
It was a good work placement experience. I have learnt a lot and enjoyed working here.
I felt part of the team most of time
The weekly one-to-one meetings with my manager were very useful to make sure I make the most of my placement and get some support when required.
Some days were busier than others but overall I’ve not been too bored or too busy.
More and more responsibilities were given throughout the year which makes the experience even better
I've developed a lot of useful skills during this placement; business related skills as well as interpersonal skills
The Company
Very good atmosphere in the open office. Everyone is friendly and willing to help whenever.
I wish there would be a more organized program like the Graduate scheme.
There is no special training for interns.
Flexi Time
Subsidised/Company Gym
Above 25 days holiday
There is no available position at the moment in the team.
The Culture
There are enough students and graduates to make good friends.
I believe it is average.
Eynsham i(where Siemens Magnet Tehcnology is locates) is a small village but it's only few minutes by bus to Oxford city centre which is more lively.
There are quite a few social activities organised outside of work.
