About You
It was very informative, packed with case studies, presentations and networking opportunities. Also included a mock interview.
Everyone seemed very friendly including the senior interviewers
They gave us plenty of guidance on the svs application process
We learnt a lot of competency based interview skills which is the most commonly used format of interviews
The Company
There was clear structure from start to finish. It was obvious they put in a lot of though in arranging activities and events
Both recruiters were very friendly and made you feel comfortable. The evening dinner also helped create a good atmosphere amongst everyone.
There was very few technical skills taught which was probably not a bad thing as the purpose of the insight was to understand more about the company and the different service lines.
They explained the initial training procedures we would have to go over if we joined the company. They also spoke of the various events and clubs offered and run by Deloitte.
From speaking to the graduate employees it was clear that Deloitte really does care about their staff and it is not as cutthroat as other companies.
Everything Else
Travel to and from their bristol office was reimbursed.
We were given plenty of opportunities to network with current employees. In fact they arranged for staff from the London and Bristol offices to comr and chat with us.
There were events in the office and also during dinner so you had plenty of chances to demonstrate your networking skills.
As already mentioned we were told about the various clubs and sports teams
The insight proved it's purpose. It helped me to understand the different service lines in a big four company.
