The Role
At times extremely interesting but on a day to day outlook often fairly slow and not very challenging.
Fantastic team who made me feel very welcome although ideally they would have better resembled my own age/sex.
I feel i could have recieved more direction during the internship but my supervisor was very helpful on a dayto day basis.
Rarely too busy but often if the the work was minimal in the queue then the work was slow.
Responsibility over my own work flow but little more.
Certainly not a waste of time but other than the knowledge i gained from self arranged opporunities the day to day role is unlikely to make a huge impact on my later studies or jobs.
The Company
Dissapointing when trying to arrange after work social events but in office ours a fantastically friendly atmosphere.
Good generally but i certianly felt left out not being in the London program.
Obviously some investment has been made but i felt it could have been more catered to my personal strengths and weaknesses.
Subsidised Canteen
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Certainly interested in the opportunities within the wider business, not necessarily in the exact role inwhich my internship focused.
The Culture
Apart from very limited London only events that we were able to visit the social scene was very limited. Given a hotle for one event which was fantastic but otherwise logisitically difficult if we wanted to enjoy organised activities.
Newcastle-under-Lyme is very cheap.
It is cheap but very quiet with regards to office life.
Again there were limited opportunities on this front as people wrent interested.
