The Role
There were some tough times during this job, some stressful times, but all down to the level of responsibility I was given, and once I improved at my job, it was very enjoyable.
Most colleagues were excellent and very welcoming. Most interns here are really valued by the permanent staff.
My manager was exceptional in giving me support and guidance, even though he had very little time to spare.
Work can be incredibly busy here, but it ebbs and flows like in any job.
I was given massive responsibility in the running of aspects of the business across Europe, Middle East and Africa. Far more than I ever would have expected for an intern.
This year has taught me more than my degree ever could.
The Company
The atmosphere are Disney is great, there's a lot of work going on to engage employees.
I had some complications personally with the setup of my internship, but these were fixed and in the end benefited me.
Lots of extra training available, and my manager was particularly good & invested heavily in me.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
I would happily go back to Disney if given the opportunity.
The Culture
Lots of intern events & approx 150 interns in the building to work with.
Hammersmith is an expensive area if you choose to live so centrally.
There are lots of opportunities in Hammersmith for after-work drinks. Otherwise you're in London...there's plenty to do!
Disney organised quite a lot of out of work events, but the intern network in particular was very good at this.
