The Role
It was diffult, however this pushed me to go out of my comfort zone and has helped develop my character so i see this as a positive.
I was treated like another member of the team and was neither given special attention or ignored by team members
It was often difficult to know what questions to ask, although a weekly one to one meeting was very helpful.
Some days I have been very busy, other days I have had less to do.
I have been involved in projects that feel fairly insignificant as well as large company critical projects.
I have learnt so much about management and communication this year!
The Company
Lots of cake!
Often I needed to actively seek for as ask for oppertunities.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
The Culture
It has been better in previous years, unfortuneately many of the students were comuting from home. However in the summer if is great as there are more than 15 students working at SMT.
Oxford is southern prices but a really nice play to live.
There are some football sessions after work and occasional socials.
