The Role
Overall was very good but the management style of some members of my team was not suited to an Interns learning or development.
It was quite a mixed bag, my team had 13 people in. the majority i spoke to everyday but some of the senior managers pretty much ignored me and saw me as just the "Intern".
Depends on the team members, only my boss gave me any advice at senior management level, but the other team members did provide me with invaluable knowledge.
Most of the time i was drip fed work or worked on quite dull "pet projects" but eventually i started to feel like i was contributing a lot when i worked on the teams major change projects.
It depended on the project, when i was working on my own projects senior management left me to do my own thing. A Very Laissez Faire management style. When i worked on larger team projects, i wasnt given a huge amount of responsibility.
The skills i learnt wont help me with my degree, i have learnt a lot about how business works despite being told multiple times O2 is not indicitive of other businesses.
The Company
Nice working environment
Talentum (Intern Handlers) are poor in my opinion, they care a lot more about the Graduates and Apprentices. Interns feel like second class citizens always feeling like an after thought. I stopped paying attention to what communications they sent after the first 2 months.
I did one Yellow Belt Lean Six Sigma course which i only got on as my friend organised it.

The Culture
Really good group of interns and organised nights out and activities all the time.
Cost of living isnt too bad but i did live in Slough
Nothing in the immediate area.
I'm sure there are but I did not get invovled.
