The Role
Loved all of it, great balance between work and social life availble.
Great working atmosphere.
Telefonica has a company wide process which ensures all employees receive the support and guidance they need.
I always had something to do, sometimes work was steady and easy other days we're frantic and stressful but overall a good balance.
Far more than I expected, it didn't feel like I was an intern but full time employee.
The skills I have learnt on this placement are only those you can develop in the working environment and have given me a great step towards employment after university.
The Company
Always friendly and everyone gets on well with each other.
A few things could have gone more smoothly.
I had my own personal development plan that was reviewed each month.
Flexi Time
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Working from home
Have a graduate scheme assessment but they seem reluctant to recruit internally.
The Culture
Facebook group to allow us all to interact and arrange housing.
Slough isn't the best for socialising but reading, windsor and london are easy to get to the. The south isn't cheap.
Non existent in Slough but frequent nights in Reading, London and Windsor
Good set up with rugby and football but limited opportunities with anything else.
