The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed my Internship and hope to return on the Graduate programme.
I always felt valued by my colleagues, I was treated as there equal and they were all friendly and welcoming when I joined.
Had full support from my manager for my development and always felt like I had the support I needed.
I did occasionally feel like I was being 'underused' at times, but this varied as some weeks I was very busy whilst others were quieter.
The responisbility I was given gew throughout the Internship which was completely understandable.
I can safely say that I have learnt a lot in the past 12 months and will take this experience into my next opportunity.
The Company
Great atmosphere despite not being the biggest of offices.
The start of my placement was not organised greatly but this changed when we got past the first few weeks.
There were opportunites for development and I tried to take as many of these as possible.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Working from home
Applied for the Graduate Program so fingers crossed my future lies with this company.
The Culture
Being based in the smaller office meant there was not as many Interns based here. In the bigger office there were a lot more Interns and the social environment there did understandably seem better.
Living in the centre of a big city takes it's toll on your wage but as long as you are clever with your money you should be fine.
Great nightlife!
Yes I was involved in various 'extra curricular' activites during work hours, mainly based around interesting school students in technology.
