The Role
Very fun workplace, staff were very friendly.
Felt like a permanent member, good team spirit.
If I needed help, I got help. Sometimes asking for that help is the initial problem as you don't want to show signs of being unable to do something.
To begin with I wasn't unbelievably busy, but that was due to the fact that I'd not learnt the business and the processes involved. Afterwards I became busier and busier.
Critical parts of the project were sometimes given to me to work on.
Experience cannot be taught.
The Company
The team had a great attitude to work and play and rules were very lax providing work was done to a good standard.
It didn't feel as though there was an actual schedule set up for the work placement, but there was still plenty to do nonetheless.
I was lucky enough to go to a training course on Core Spring, which was paid for by Disney.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
I would like to work there again in the future.
The Culture
It was good at times, but more Disney run Intern events would have been nice.
I was living with a family so rent was minimal. Socialising was always going to be expensive in London and getting home was a nightmare after the tubes stopped running!
Rarely went out at night around Hammersmith, more central.
Didn't read into too many other activities that were available, but also didn't come across too many.
