The Role
During my time here, I have been challenged and kept busy. I was given more responsibility than I initially expected considering I was only here a month.
Valued lots by some, and very little by others. A few memebers of staff made me feel very belittled and gave the impression theat they didnt have time to talk me through processes I hadnt learnt before. I would go as far as to say some were very rude
Management were very supportive, gave me lots to do but also expressed that I should not hesistate in asking questions when I was confused or did not understand what I was doing
I was given a list of things to do at the beginning of each day, and allowed to prioritise my own work. Throughout the day I would be given additional tasks, I think the balance of work was very good.
More than expected. I thought I would be making teas or filing away papers but management really got me involved in current up to date deals.
The work at savills tied in very well with what I had learnt at university. I am getting into my next role more confident about what to expect.
The Company
Didnt the office atmosphere was all that friendly at times. Some memebers of staff had a laugh and a joke and a friendly attitude. but mostly i think it was quite dull
Savills do work experiences all the time so there was a set training plan on my desk the day I arrived. Human resources keep in contact with you throughout the process to see how you are progressing.
I was paid for the placement so I guess that is considered investment. Not all memebers of staff were willing to invest time into the process, others were very helpful
They have a graduate scheme which i would consider applying for , although the attitudes of some stuff memebrs would deter me from doing this.
The Culture
Only here a month, I would say it was unfair to judge this point given the amount of time i spent here.
Average I would say
Average
Like i said earlier, only here a month so unfair to judge
