The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed my placement. A good challenge and I was given a good amount of responsibility and work load. I really enjoyed the talks and networking events organised. I very well structured programme.
I gained more recognition after the first week when I carried out a substantial amount of work. From the beginning they were very welcoming. My Mentor was extremely helpful. I felt very valued towards the last week- particularly after my appraisal and hearing their comments.
Everyone was supportive especially my mentor. He guided me the whole way through. I never felt afraid to ask questions and I never felt a bruden to them. Could not have asked for better support.
Some days were busier than other as expected! However I always made an effort to email around to ask if anyone needed any work doing if I got quiet, which meant I had a good continuous balance.
My responsibility increased more towardsend of third week/ fourth week where I had a bigger influence on the Reports and I was able to put more of my opinion across during peer reviews. I felt there was a good steady increase in responsibility.
Hugely! I have developed many new skills and feel on a paractical level I had advanced. It will certainly help me during my studies next year. Further it will aid me in my other Internships and my APC.
The Company
Extremely target focused however all a good laugh. There is an evident team- everyone shares there knowledge and skills.
Outstanding. A great structure which was above and beyond my expectations.
Invested a great deal of patience and time. All seemed keen to make sure I got the most out of it.
Subsidised Canteen
A very competitive market.
