The Role
Thoroughly enjoyed my time with the firm, there is a fantastic working atmosphere that allowed me to settle in straight away.
We were assigned a trainee buddy (a trainee solicitor in the process of completing their four seats) and a supervisor as well.
I spent two weeks with the corporate team, and it was hectic but manageable and enjoyable. the work was varied, keeping it interesting all the time.
we were working on projects worth huge amounts of money, so even the smallest tasks felt important.
as a non-law student, it gave me the opportunity to really get to grips with legal documents for the first time.
The Company
the right balance between focused but light.Very friendly, and everyone was approachable and pleasant.
Virtually no hiccups. The corporate team had to postpone their presentation due to how busy they were, but other than that everything ran smoothly.
The practice presentations and guidance received from our trainees certainly gave me a clearer understanding of life as a lawyer.
