  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Thoroughly enjoyed my time with the firm, there is a fantastic working atmosphere that allowed me to settle in straight away.

    • We were assigned a trainee buddy (a trainee solicitor in the process of completing their four seats) and a supervisor as well.

    • I spent two weeks with the corporate team, and it was hectic but manageable and enjoyable. the work was varied, keeping it interesting all the time.

    • we were working on projects worth huge amounts of money, so even the smallest tasks felt important.

    • as a non-law student, it gave me the opportunity to really get to grips with legal documents for the first time.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • the right balance between focused but light.Very friendly, and everyone was approachable and pleasant.

    • Virtually no hiccups. The corporate team had to postpone their presentation due to how busy they were, but other than that everything ran smoothly.

    • The practice presentations and guidance received from our trainees certainly gave me a clearer understanding of life as a lawyer.
