About You
The team gives you a huge amount of responsibility and really values your opinion. They are welcoming and helpful and you never go away from a task without learning something new.
If I ever had any questions or problems I could ask any member of the team and they would take the time to sit down with me and carefully explain what I needed to do.
This placement showed me that I really wanted to pursue a career in law, and taught me invaluable skills for that.
The Company
There was never a lack of work for us to help out with, and there were plenty of presentations and lunches that ensured that we were getting to know a variety of people from across all of the different departments.
The atmosphere was absolutely fantastic.
They trust you with a lot of work, which really teaches you that you can accomplish things that you didn't think you could. It taught me all of the necessary skills that I would need to be a successful trainee.
I now feel I really understand what it would be like to work within Pinsent Masons, which was a really important thing to get out of the placement.
With all the social events that took place, you really got a sense for what everyone was like both inside and outside of the office.
Everything Else
There were loads of social events and at lunchtime the trainees would come and chat to us and answer any questions that we had. There was also a partners lunch, which was also a really valuable experience.
There was a good variety (something for everyone) and everyone really got involved.
We were told all about the sporting opportunities (and encouraged to get involved!) and learnt a lot about the corporate responsibility programmes that the firm is involved with.
An incredible experience that really helped me decide what I wanted to do in the future.
