    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I had a fantastic time during my placement at Savills, I have enjoyed my four weeks so much that I will certainly be applying for the Grad scheme here.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • All of my colleagues were extremely friendly and I settled in very quickly to the team.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • The graduates assigned to help us were very helpful and supportive. Always happy to help and explain things that maybe weren't so clear at first.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Never too busy or bored, perfect balance.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • - Was given an exercise to potentially interested parties to persuade them to attend a show home launch. Really good exercise and was given autonomy to do this.

    3/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Compared to when I started my knowledge of Savills, the property industry and residential property has improved dramatically. I have consolidated my existing knowledge and learned a huge amount of new things as well.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Naturally everybody who works at Savills is very professional and hard working, but at the same time they are all great people who enjoy a good laugh.

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • The placement was extremely well organised and structured very well. If I could improve it I think that a general talk about the company and its structure in the first week would be extremely helpful. Also introducing us to the myHR portal on the first day would be recommended.
