The Role
I found it difficult to adapt at first, but I enjoyed the independent working and variance in tasks.
Generally, we got along very well and I enjoyed their company every day. However, there is always one or two bad eggs!
I sometimes felt like I was being an annoyance but my supervisor was always welcoming and friendly.
There were times were I was extremely busy and being pulled in lots of different directions, and this was balanced with times when there was nothing to do but extra jobs and online courses. I think it would've been better if the two were less extreme.
I was given the opportunity to present work to senior roles and I definitely felt the pressure at times.
Although I learnt a lot about my course topic, I also learnt a lot about people and how to approach different situations.
The Company
Generally, the atmosphere was professional and everyone kept to themselves, but there was the odd time where everyone joined together and had some fun!
Sometimes I felt like I didn't have a clue who to talk to or what to do and I think I could've been better informed.
I was able to go to a course that I was interested in, but I never felt like I was encouraged to do one. I think my main development came from my tasks.

The graduate scheme is a great opportunity to further develop with the company.
The Culture
There is more focus on the graduate social side than interns.
There was a university nearby and therefore there were cheap and expensive places, it just depended how much you wanted to spend.
I would prefer to be in a city but the nightlife wasn't terrible.
There were a lot of opportunities to take part in company social clubs and activities, but they were based around the main office site.
