The Role
I really enjoyed the placement, now I know so much more about the company and the job I was doing and it helped me with the decision about my future career.
From day one my colleagues made me feel very welcome.
I felt very supported at every stage of my placement, people were ready to help me and provide any further information whenever I needed it.
Busy, but less busy than my colleagues, so this allowed me to explore the company and do some reading about my role and responsibilities.
I was given a good amount of responsibilities, I managed to complete all my tasks and learn something new.
Skills you develop during the internship are invaluable, you are learning how to communicate with people in a professional manner, work in a team and organise your time.
The Company
People were quite busy, but at the same time they tried to make atmosphere in the office less stressed by having general conversations during the day.
It was very well organised, I knew what projects I am going to be on from the very beginning.
We had technical training as well as social events to meet your colleagues.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
I don't know yet if I got the job or no, but I think the chances are good if you do well during your internship.
The Culture
We had a few social events, which allowed us to socialise and have a good time together.
I lived outside London, but London itself is quite expensive.
Night life is good in London.
There are a lot of sport clubs and interest clubs, so everyone could find something that particularly appeals to them.
