The Role
Was a great experience working at Intel.
My role was done by full time employee on different products therefore i was just as valued as them.
My managers and support team were great, and always willing to help me.
After around 6 month i found i had free time due to understanding my core job role. At which point i was given a Job plus (a add on job not related to core role).
Managed a large account and given more responsibility as requested.
I was able to link some of the content i learned in some modules to real life examples, However i found that a lot of the time it doesn't really relate.
The Company
People always happy to talk about non work topics, and good banter flying around.
Given good training early on, and a good support structure set up.
Given training on key programs, and also sent on a business trip to train abroad.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Lots of room to improve personally, and opportunities for job change.
The Culture
70 interns meant there is always something going on.
Swindon has a relatively low cost of living.
The Swindon nightlife is OK, but there are surrounding city close by.
Sports and social events happening all the time.
