The Role
I really felt part of the team straight away as a lot of my colleagues were really welcoming
For the second 6th months of my placement, my supervisor was the graduate who had already been through the internship so he knew exactly what I was going through and provided some great support.
I was given a good mixture of projects and day-to-day task to complete which really helped with this balance
The amount of responsibility I was given from day one was beyond any expectations of mine.
We had monthly training sessions which focused on different core skills such as communication, project managment and personal development which I know will all help me with my degree and beyond
The Company
The Internship set up is fantastic at Eaton. With the scheme providing reviews, training events and social events throughout the year
Eaton really invest as you as a person, give you all the key training required at such an early stage of your career
Flexi Time
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
The Culture
As the regular training events brought all the interns together, we used either the night before or after to socialize with each other which were really good fun.
I was based in Doncaster so everything was really cheap.
When we did go out in Doncaster, we had a good night. but we mostly went out at our uni's or bigger cities
