The Role
Job was good, although it wasnt totally related with the specialization of my studies
People were nice with me during all the time and they valued my work.
My colleagues were always supportive when necessary
I was never very busy.
I was in charge of the main project I carried out, and I had the chance to present the results to top management of the company
I have learnt the differences between the student and the work life, how to cope with real life problems, teamwork and work with suppliers

Atmosphere was always nice, and people were always respectful with each other
The placement was well organised. The first day I arrived to the company I was explained my objectives I received the necessary guidance to start my projects.

The Culture
All the interns got on well and used to have lunch together on a daily basis
The area I worked in was the outskirts of Bristol and there were not so many things around, and hence was cheaper to live there than the city center...One room in a shared accomodation was arond 400-500 pounds per month I found public transport expensive for the value-money relation. The city has plenty of options to socialize and many of them wasnt very expensive.
Bristol is a very nice city, always full of plenty of things to do: concerts, pubs, restaurants, festivals...
Yes, at work we were motivated to become stem ambassadors and take part in community projects sponsored by Rolls Royce. In addition, there is an association in which young people of the company organizes sports and social events.
