The Role
A very fun internship. Got a lot of experience and responsibility. Lots of other interns also works there and its a fun social place to work.
Everyone is very welcoming and friendly. You attend meetings with directors and other colleges and you are part of a team like a full time employee would be
We had a weekly catch up every week and I could always ask for help at any point if needed.
Yes I had about 3 days during the whole year where I had a quiet day. The other days were always busy and I was never bored. If you had too much on you could raise this and they would manage your workload for you
I got more responsibility towards the end after about 6 months. At the start they need to get to know you so you don't get as much. By the end I created presentations that senior managers also worked on.
Profesionalism, writing skills and a professional tone from emails. Had management and leadership training workshops and also Disney university in which you can attend talks on other companies etc.
The Company
Very fun and socialable. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Lots of activities/events/birthdays going on so always time to meet others.
The HR team introduced us to other interns on Facebook and we had an induction. We also had a welcome to Disney to get to know about the company
You could attend training sessions if they weren't over subscribed. I also just learn't things on the job. Not lots of specic training but there was some.
Subsidised Canteen

If there is a job available there is good future employment prospects however if not I don't think they can create a role just for you.
