The Role
All in all a great year!
I was made to feel like a valued member of the team from day one.
Support was there when needed.
There were periods where I was extremely busy, however on the whole it was manageable.
I have always had a lot of responsibility in the role. I have covered for my manager on more than one occasion - once for over a month!
I definitely feel more employable.
The Company
I had a great team around me!
Lots of performance reviews at regular intervals.
I haven't received a lot of personal training.
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
It is competitive but achievable if you have a successful year.
The Culture
There are over 300 interns at IBM, and over 100 in my base location, South Bank. Loads of intern events such as parties, five-a-side football etc.
London living - not cheap as you are probably aware!
Good if you know the right places and nights, otherwise expensive on our salaries!
Loads of things to get involved with!
