  • All in all a great year!

  • I was made to feel like a valued member of the team from day one.

  • Support was there when needed.

  • There were periods where I was extremely busy, however on the whole it was manageable.

  • I have always had a lot of responsibility in the role. I have covered for my manager on more than one occasion - once for over a month!

  • I definitely feel more employable.

  • I had a great team around me!

  • Lots of performance reviews at regular intervals.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • There are over 300 interns at IBM, and over 100 in my base location, South Bank. Loads of intern events such as parties, five-a-side football etc.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • London living - not cheap as you are probably aware!

  • Good if you know the right places and nights, otherwise expensive on our salaries!
