About You
RPC really made it their business to make sure that we knew as much about them as possible and make it fun at the same time.
We were given some significant tasks to complete and felt like the work we did was actually useful rather than a time filler.
RPC really found a good balance of letting us experience what life was really like in a law firm and making sure that they were there if we had any questions or needed any help.
Some of the tasks were quite challenging and made me have to find an answer
The Company
There was a clear structure from day one to make sure that we got the most out of the placement and I really felt like it was for our benefit
The atmosphere was great, they put us at ease straight away and we felt like we were ll working together as a team rather than competing against eachother.
The firm sought to challenge us in uncoventional ways making sure we got a breadth of training. This included giving presentations and getting creative to give a visual representation of the firm.
Some of our days were exactly as they would be if we were working for the firm so it was a really accurate insight.
RPC is all about its culture and they went to great lengths to ensure that we understood what they stand for and the values of the firm. The business project
Everything Else
London placements are always expensive, it was in line with what similar firms were offering.
There were planty of networking events and opportunities to meet new people.
I don't drink so they were always going to be difficult but there was always plenty to get involved in.
Lots of the trainees were keen to recruit us to the many clubs and activities.
Great people and great experience.
