The Role
The whole experience was made enjoyable through a relaxed and stress free environment.
Savills really value their interns by giving them access to all types of employees. A lunch with the fee earners of the company makes you feel valued even though you are only a temporary worker.
We were each allocated to a recent graduate. These graduates were our mentors throughout the month and were very supportive throughout the whole process.
We were given enough tasks to fill our time yet still able to us or initiative during an free time.
We were allowed to delegate our tasks as we saw fit, as long as we stuck to the required deadlines.
As a non cognate student, the Savills Summer Scheme confirmed my interest in the property market. I was made to feel welcome and confident enough to complete the internship.
The Company
Due to the open office plan the atmosphere is always buzzing and exciting, especially when some big deals are made!
We were able to attend several departmental overviews throught the scheme as well as an offical Diane Eccles city tour.
The company invested a lot in each student. We were treated to lunches and even got to attend a live Savills auction!
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
We were given reat exposure to the graduate scheme through our mentors. They were able to answer any questions and seemed to be happy with their jobs!
The Culture
We were able to attend several networking events and countless social nights out! Also a graduate rounders game in Hyde park!
Working on Oxford Street does have its cons!
Working on Oxford Street also has its pros!
Work hard, play hard at Savills.
