The Role
Working on real-life projects with real business value was very good and quite enjoyable.
Colleagues were generally very approachable and didn't treat me differently just because I was a student.
Colleagues were there to point me in the right direction. Rest was learned by myself while trying to complete my tasks using the net.
Very busy - but I enjoy doing things rather than sitting around doing nothing.
Real projects, with real business value = real responsibility.
All the theory learned at uni could be applied at work. Knowledge gained over 1 year is far greater than everything learned at uni
The Company
Colleagues were great but in a big american corporation, with a lot of work on the plate, sometimes there was no time for "socializing" and having "fun".
Well team I worked for was great, [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyPlacement Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] some things were "mis-communicated"
There were some online training courses, but that was about it.

My first real job in a big company - can't say without experiencing work-life with another employer
The Culture
Quite a few placement students and there were odd social events.
Just the usual.
Can't say - had other commitments.
It's a big company with a lot of rules as to what you can and can't do. [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyPlacement Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions]
