The Role
It was a good mixture of client site visits such that I got to see how different firms operate.
Everyone made me feel very welcome and offered to help whenever I had something to do and I always felt comfortable to approach other members of the team.
My buddy was always on hand to help me with any problems no matter whether it was work related or not.
There were a few slow days but apart from that I have worked solidly 9-5.
A lot, I was responsible for different entities and producing work for the audit.
It helped me to learn how to work in new teams and how to conduct myself in a formal manner.
The Company
There was a good balance of a hard work ethic and jokes all round the team.
I was assigned to clients for the majority of the placement and it ran smoothly.
Sending us on the two day training in Reading helped us get a grasp of what to expect and time frames along with meeting the other interns in my position.

Not to just say I have already been offered the job but I am definitely intent on joining the firm.
The Culture
Apart from the interns that I was assigned to in a team at the training it was hard to meet other interns as I was always at a client site. I think the firm should have made more effort to organise events for the intern.
Varied, lunch was paid for so food was not a problem. After work there was always an opportunity for drinks which were quite reasonable.
Didn't have the opportunity to go out with work colleagues. But heard that it was good.
Apart from the CSR day, there was not much we were informed of.
