The Role
It was really enjoyable- everyone was lovely and we were made to feel really welcome- everyone looked after us to ensure we wernt struggliong with the work
All the people I worked with were really nice and friendly and they were really grateful to me for helping thwem out even though it was my job!
We were given plenty of support and guidance, including a coordinator and a buddy, however some of the training was a bit disorganized and therefore confusing
There was usually plenty of things for me to do, however, there would occasionally be quieter points in the day when we were waiting on information from clients before i could proceed with my work
Considering I was only on an internship, I was given enough responsibility for my own work, however I was never left alone and there was always someone on hand to answer any questions that i had
A lot- what I did on the internship I will use at university and inn the world of work
The Company
It was generally fun and although we were busy working there was often conversation and everyone was really friendly
My locations and what I was scheduled to do tended to change at the last minute quite often, and I had difficuilties getting my computer system and online access to work at the start
A lot- we had training at the start of the event and we also had the opportunity to participate in pleanty of online learning tasks
We were constantly given the opportunity to improve our performance through regular feedback and we were all fast tracked to a partner interview
The Culture
yes- Deloitte organised several social events such as lunch and drinks, and us interns also organised events amongst ourselves
Central London will always be pricey!
Good- I am from London anyway so for me it was not a change, but the other interns from further away seemed to enjoy it
yes- although I did not, I was asked to participate in a netball tournament and there was also a charity cricket match going on
