  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Intel is an incredible company to work for on your placement year.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?

    • Not once did I feel like just an intern. My team are incredible and pushed me to take on any responsibility I wanted.

    • Weekly 1:1's with Supervisor and Bi-Weekly with Manager.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?

    • This varies. At some points I was very busy and at some points not so much.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?

    • Huge amounts. In fact, if you want to just coast for a year then this could be an issue. I loved the fact I had real responsibility and was "one of the team".

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • I learnt more at Intel than I did during my degree.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • Could be a little dull at points. But your team really make this and my team were fantastic!

    • The Intel Internship has been around longer than most. It's a really great and efficient structure.

    • You receive a lot of in house training but external accredited training is unlikely.

    • I was offered a job and have accepted it.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Really good social scene. There is 60+ interns so enough people around to keep you busy!

    • Swindon is very cheap to live.

    • Swindon really doesn't offer much.
