    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • It is a struggle initially because Resource Managers need to place you on long term projects even though you're there for a short period of time. But you have amazingly friendly/flexible people and teams that you can go up to and work for. So after getting used to the work culture, there is nothing to stop you from enjoying your time there.

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Your work is valued/appreciated within most teams. The only downside is that if you're 'free', they can give you work that you're over qualified for.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • My manager had no clue that I was coming. I didn't have support for getting work as they weren't 'responsible' for it. They didn't know much about grad recruitment, partner interviews etc. or anything very regarding answers to my question. But they were friendly and supportive of what I made of my placement.

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I found myself work and tried to remain busy throughout the day. But not too busy as people try to send you off by 5pm.

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Not much but I guess that's not what its about as we're only there for a short period of time.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Definitely learnt a lot of skills including networking ability..

    4/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Lively but hot desking made it less so if you didn't know everyone!

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • No structure at all, which could be good or bad.

    5/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Mostly hands-on learning.

    4/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Subsidised Canteen

    Subsidised/Company Gym

    4/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?

    4/5
