The Role
Great working atmosphere and great bunch of people.
There was no 'being an intern' stigma - people were happy to treat us (us) as equals and ask/advise where necessary.
Support throughout, from manager and many other colleagues.
Times when there was opportunity for 'down time', and other times we were flat out - good balance.
I was surprised and really pleased with the high level of trust and responsibility placed in me as an intern.
The placement provided me with an unparalleled opportunity to learn, engage and develop. I would say that learning more about myself and how I work has been one of the highlights of my experiences with Telefonica.
The Company
Professional work environment but good balance of easy-going people as well.
Good points and bad points but overall, fairly smooth.
Where necessary, we were given opportunities to be trained/developed.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Looks like there's a great grad scheme to get involved with.
The Culture
From before we even started there were a very friendly bunch of people, all in the same position as each other, looking to get involved etc.
I was quite lucky as I lived from home, but for being so close to London, prices were relatively cheap, I would say.
There was a good variety of pubs and nearby areas offered bars and nightclubs.
Samsung Galaxy football league, local rugby clubs etc etc
