About You
Mayer Brown have provided an excellent vacation scheme. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in both Pensions and Corporate, and all the various training and social events they also provided.
I never felt under-valued, and felt that all my questions and concerns were answered.
I have received plenty of guidance from both lawyers and the information centre (library)
I definitely think that I have acquired a set of very useful skills which have confirmed my interest in becoming a lawyer.
The Company
The whole programme has been fabulous from beginning till end, and the trip to Paris was fantastic because it provided the opportunity to get to know the other interns more and the graduate recruitment team, and provided a good break between the two seats.
The atmosphere has been great both in the office among the trainees, other interns and lawyers and outside of the office at the social events.
Mayer Brown have clearly invested a lot of time in the training, e.g. taking us to kaplan and presentations of trainee training opportunities.
The insight has confirmed my enthusiasm for the firm.
Working for three weeks within the firm has helped my gain a flavour for the working life
Everything Else
fully paid - 275 a week
there have ben plenty of opportunities to meet other members of the firm, be it at a social event or in the department
There have been a range of excellent social events, e.g. a trip to Paris and bowling
Yes, many members of the firm told us of what they get involved in
I would absolutely recommend it
