About You
The graduate recruitment team ensured that there were many activties to bond as a group as well as to get to know the firm well.
Varied between departments, some departments were very approachable. However some were not and it did feel as it people ignored you.
Everyone was very helpful and went out of their way to help you understand things.
Definately learnt many new skills which would be valuable as a trainee.
The Company
The vacation scheme was very well structured. The trip to the firm's Paris office was a great day!
Everyone is very positive and friendly.
Not much training or development was undertaken.
Gained an insight into the day to day tasks a trainee solicitor would have to undertake and the type of work the firm does.
Very useful in understanding the culture of the firm's London office as well as their international culture.
Everything Else
Definately helped cement that a career in law was for me.
The HR team went out of their way to hold several networking events, moreoever you would always get invited by people within the departments you sat in for informal drinks.
Definately made the vacation scheme very fun and engaging.
Everyone is very open about their life outside of the office and willing to share it to you, as well as what pro-bono work they do.
Great vacation scheme experience, so different to other firms where interns are made to work ridiculous hours.
