About You
Great experience to the workings of an international law firm.
People from all levels were really friendly and open to us, taking the time out to chat, talk through case backgrounds and explaining the task to be completed.
A lot of suppport from both the HR department as well as the department we were sitting at. From training opportunities at the firm, the help with tasks and the law was readily given when asked.
Understanding the work of a soliticitor, the extent of conscientious effort required to produce a piece of document.
The Company
Very well structured and balance between actual time spent at our seats with socials with associates and trainees.
I was lucky to be blessed with a group of fun loving vacation scheme students, very happy to be part of the gang and the people i've met along the way had been absolutely amazing
The culture at Mayer Brown is one to be desired, the friendliness and collegiate environment which everyone operates in is refreshing and makes you want to come to work everyday
Everything Else
From being at our seats talking to trainees, associates and partners at the firm to organising bowling sessions and networking drinks, the opportunities were plenty to mix around with others from the firm.
The cherry on top of the icing is the Paris day trip, not only did it allow us a tour of the Paris office, but we had time in the day to explore the city!
Definitely recommend!
