The Role
I really enjoyed my internship at Telefonica and I am really grateful for the experience. I am going to apply for the graduate scheme because it's a great company to work for.
Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Telefonica are really passionate and excited about having young people in their business.
I couldn't have been more supported, everyone is so helpful and there is always someone there to help you or guide you in the right direction.
I was busy on a daily bases and given a lot of responsibility. My manager/buddy/colleagues were there to support me if there was something which I didn't know how to do.
I was given a lot of responsibility during my placement year and I felt like I was a valued employee within the business.
The skills I have learnt will assist me in my third year of university and when doing my dissertation. I feel like I have developed so many skills which I wouldn't have gained without doing an internship. I feel confident about being successful on a graduate scheme as I already have some experience within a business. I have enjoyed applying the theory from my first and second year of university.
The Company
Amazing atmosphere - I can work from home when ever I want and there is always events in the offices - a real exciting place to be!
It was very well organised.
I had the opportunity to go on as many training courses that I want. There were a few skills that I wanted to develop within my placement and my manager helped me to do this by creating tasks that would help me.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen

The Culture
Yes, the interns, graduates and apprentices always meet up in the canteen or for food/drinks after work or on the weekend. Everyone is in the same boat so is really friendly and welcoming.
Leeds isn't an expensive city and it's really exciting.
The nightlife in Leeds is great!
There are opportunities to meet up with all other interns out of work. We have Christmas parties organised and there is also opportunities to win tickets for sporting events/the cinema/shopping trips.
