The Role
I found my placement year thoroughly enjoyable. I was given real responsibility in my role from day one and this has grown since then. I have yet to come across anyone in the company who hasn't offered to help and I have been lucky in that I have been placed with a great team.
I have felt extremely valued in my role.
My manager has always given me guidance should I need it. From the simple questions related to my role to where I and how I should progress my career.
Mostly busy. There has been plenty of opportunities to try something new, outside of my role.
The more I have settled in to my role and felt comfortable in what I am doing the more responsibility I have been given. What I have found particularly great about this placement is that, although you jump straight in to the deep end, your managers make sure they only give you want you are comfortable with. I set up the first IBM integrated account social media strategy.
My year in industry has made me come away with a new work ethic and I will definitely be taking this back to university with me.
The Company
Being in the center of London was amazing however the Southbank offices inside are pretty poor.
You get out what you put in.
A lot of investment has gone into my development but I believe its all been worth worth while.

The company is going through a lot of change so we shall see what the offer is.
The Culture
London is an overprice jungle.
There are sports teams outside of work that you can get involved in as well as plenty of Giveback activities outside of your role
