About You
It was a highly useful insight into PwC- getting the chance to see different departments, meet a fantastic range of people, have fun and perform the assessments for a summer internship.
There were quite a few people but PwC tried hard to provide personal recruiter contacts, and invested a lot of money in the scheme.
There was guidance regarding the firm but less so regarding the actual assessments.
There were some useful skills regarding presenting.
The Company
The insight was well structured, organised, and a timetable with the key sessions and learning outcomes was given on our first day.
The atmosphere was exciting, fun and energetic.
There was a lot of focus on your individual strengths and where to use them, as well as the opportunity to get an internship.
There was networking with partners, business representatives and the chance to hear a presentation on each line of service.
The company culture was clear from the start, and staff conveyed it well.
Everything Else
All expenses reimbursed, and food and accommodation paid for.
There was a partner drinks reception, dinner and employee networking session- so lots of opportunities.
There were 2 social events- one for each night, and the World Cup for us to watch too.
There was a great deal of information about PwC and CSR efforts, as well as employee networks.
An excellent insight and first step to a career with PwC.
