About You
i enjoyed my placement a lot, every area of work was very interesting in its own way, i felt welcomed by all of the friendly staff, and felt saddened when leaving the site for the last time. i would definitely take the opportunity to get work with them again.
every single member of staff i met greeted me with a warm welcome, i felt like part of the company. staff guided me in my work, and were very helpful.
every member of staff i was placed with showed me the basics, and more, of their jobs. they let me take the wheel and try my hand at their work, and guided me in the right direction with their best efforts.
having seen what work takes place at the company, and seeing what qualifications are needed to be accepted for roles in the business, i now know what i would need to accomplish to gain a foothold in the company.
The Company
it was very structured, i was given a rotor showing me all the different departments i would be shadowing, and which member of staff i would be assigned to.
although the week of my work experience was a slow-down in the company work, it was still one where i worked and learnt for the entire week, i had plenty of work to do, and even more friendly conversations.
each department showed me the way of their work, the basics and more. i know more now about the company, the way it functions, and the work that takes place.
i know exactly how i would fit into the company if i was taken on for a full time role, i would know my place in the company,my place in the business.
i now know exactly what the company does, how it works, and how it contributes to society.
Everything Else
i have a better idea of the work path i would like to choose after being with the company. i was not paid because it was a work experience placement, and payment was not necessary
i went from one department to another, meeting nearly all of the staff by the end of the week.
all staff were welcoming, and engaged in friendly conversation, i got many opportunities to meet many staff, and i felt welcome at my placement.
employees take training courses, go on field testing, and meetings
Lubrizol is a very successful and interesting company, they have many jobs to apply for, many of which are very interesting in their own specific ways. all staff were very welcoming, and greeted me with friendly faces.
