The Role
Enjoyable, I did 'real' work and got to try a variety of things during my time at the company.
Felt I was given real responsibility
Loads of support from management and other colleagues, everyone was very friendly and helpful.
Some busy days, some very quiet days, such was the nature of the project I worked on! They did try very hard to find work for me on the quieter days.
I was given responsibility right from the start, including having my own projects.
Fantastic experience and likely to be very helpful in the future!
The Company
I worked in quite a small office, everyone was very friendly and willing to help.
Good organisation overall, I was always kept informed.
I didn't do many specific training courses, but within my department everyone was always willing to take time out to explain things to me.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
A company with a good reputation
The Culture
Interns not from the local area were placed in flats- so I shared with another intern and had several mroe living next door!
Edinburgh can be expensive but not overly so, it just depends where you go!
Mountains of bars and pubs, more Italian restaurants than Italy.
The company had loads of social clubs you could join for massively discounted activities, plus there is loads to do in Edinburgh
