The Role
Great atmosphere amongst colleagues and interns alike.
Was given meaningful tasks to work on, that actually had a positive impact on the business.
Management were always more than happy to help with issues, or step in if I became overloaded with work.
There was always work to be done, so it was generally busy, however there was always a chance to relax if need be.
I was given a lot of responsibility during my placement. Any issues tended to have an impact on the business and if I caused an issue it was my responsibility to resolve it.
I have learnt some skills which will be invaluable for the rest of my degree and working life.
The Company
I was lucky to be working with a group of young, fun people, who liked to work hard and have a good time doing it.
Very well setup internship program that has been perfected over many years.
There were a lot of training courses that were compulsory, with some additional options courses. Courses outside of the office weren't an option for me though.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
There are no jobs available in the team at the moment, although there is a possibility that one will become available.
The Culture
There was a large group of interns, all of a similar age, which resulted in a great social scene.
Accommodation was very reasonable, however going out not on a student night could be quite expensive.
Ok nightlife. Student night was very good, however this fell during the week so work the next day was never easy!
Many events arranged by both the site and various intern groups, generally at subsidized rates.
