  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Not much work to be done as an intern. However, it was a great experience at the age of 18

  • Hard to get noticed on the Trade floor as it is really busy.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • When ever it was not as busy, which was rarely. However, was given good support when it came to the end of my project, especially by the older interns.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Buying traders their breakfast, lunch and coffees. To be fair, as an alevel intern all you can do is watch the traders do what they do best as it takes great skill and time to do their job as I had not yet started University to know the basics.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I feel like i am a year ahead in my financial markets lectures as i had learnt so much before most 18 year olds.

  • We stuck together and worked as a team.
