  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • The past two weeks have given me a valuable insight into the operation of a global law firm. It has been a great opportunity to experience the culture and two different practice areas within the firm. This has been supplemented by departmental presentations ensuring you get a comprehensive view of the firm and social activities.

    • I felt valued as I the tasks I was assigned had direct relevance to work being undertaken.

    • Everyone was very approachable and always willing to answer my questions or check through the work I had done to ensure I was going in the right direction.

    • My research skills have improved dramatically, both in terms of becoming aware of new resources to use and how information should be presented.

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • The scheme struck a perfect balance as you had enough time in the department to get stuck into tasks, but also the opportunity to attend presentations, socials and work on your group presentation.

    • Everyone was really friendly and welcoming.

    • A lot of time was taken to ensure I learnt as much as possible from the tasks I did.

    • I was given real work and spent enough time in the office to get a good understanding of what it would be like to have a full time role with the firm.
