About You
Having completed multiple vacation schemes at London law firms this summer, I can't rate Taylor Wessing's scheme highly enough. This was by far the best placement of all!
Was involved in genuine day-to-day tasks within the firm, rather than being fobbed of with meaningless tasks.
Well supported throughout by a range of supervisors and grad recruitment.
Immensely useful in deciding to pursue a career in commercial law.
The Company
Very well structured, with good practice presentations and training seats.
Excellent friendly firm, that really practices what it preaches - a true open door policy.
Everything was set up in a way that allowed you to shine to your full potential
Reaffirmed my desire that Taylor Wessing is where I want to train and qualify into, despite the opportunities at larger firms.
Excellent firm, that didn't hide any aspects (like the need for very hard work) whilst also showing its best side.
Everything Else
Fair renumeration for the placement, but we did work long hours!
Brilliant and varied socials, trainees were most accommodating.
Without a doubt I would recommend Taylor Wessing to anyone considering a career in commercial law. Ed O'Brien (in lieu of a grad recruitment officer) has to be handed the bulk of the congratulations for the fortnight.
