The Role
The culture seems to be "work more than you have to, as to try and get noticed", or that is at least the London culture. This doesn't apply to interns but even after a years or so, people regularly work long hours, even when they have nothing on just to look busy and avoid the "oh you're leaving at 5 o'clock eyes". The big four would be a lot worse, which makes you think. However, the trip to Bradenham (the training facility) was absolutely brilliant because we got to hang around with all the other interns. You won't be able to work at a better company in terms of training. Most of the people in the firm are very friendly and helpful. The people are the best part of this organisation - although some have workaholic traits. Naturally as I was an intern, the work I was given was pretty menial - they can't exactly give you big exciting work as you don't know what you're doing. At least I was kept busy, which helps the days go by! The majority of interns are a great bunch who all want a good time, so props to the recruitment team!
They were all friendly to me, and appreciated the work I did for them.
Lots of support and advice when I needed it, however my manager is a big workaholic, so the advice wasn't always realistic. You do find some really nice down-to-earth people, though.
Kept busy!
Got involved in client work, but it was the trivial work mainly
The Company
Not a fun atmosphere. Just what you would imagine an office at a professional services firm in London to be.
It's seamless unless something changes, then it's a bit of a nightmare.
I was invested in well.

Working from home
If not in the London office and your passionate about your service line, you will honestly have an amazing time. If in London and you like your service line, it just depends on what your colleagues are like. If you don't enjoy your service line and in London, you'll probably be waiting for the weekend constantly. If not in London and you don't enjoy your service line, you'll probably be okay.
The Culture
Most of the interns love a good time. Shame there weren't barely any in my area.
