About You
I took a lot away from the experience and it was both enjoyable and challenging.
Everybody in my department and in the firm at large were more than happy to answer any questions and point me in the right direction.
Everything that was expected of me was clearly outlined throughout the insight.
Having completed the insight before studying the law conversion, the skills of drafting, researching and other soft skills will be very useful for the future.
The Company
A good combination of work, assessments and social activities means that the placement was very well structured.
Superb!
Having set out targets at the beginning of the insight, team members made a lot of effort to help me achieve my goals.
I saw a fully rounded picture of the life of a trainee solicitor.
Having the opportunity to hear presentations from a number of departments and interact with different members of the firm allowed me to develop a fully informed opinion if the culture.
Everything Else
£500 for two weeks.
Induction day, presentations, social events.
Very well planned, varied and they provided a great opportunity to network.
Superb scheme with lots of opportunities to enable students to do well. Very well structured and it is obvious that a lot of emphasis is put on the scheme by the firm as a method for recruiting.
