The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed my 13 months at HP.
I never felt like 'the intern'. I felt like a valued member of the Marketing team. I felt like I really made a difference and was a vital member.
A 1-2-1 with my manager bi-weekly. My manager was always in the office to approach if I needed to.
Very very busy. I was stressed and felt like I had so much on my plate. But it has really paid off and being busy made the time fly by!
I had a lot of responsibility, I was given tasks and left to run with them. At the beginning most of the stuff I did was reviewed before I was confident enough to do things myself.
Learnt to work with a range of different people, their working styles, ages, seniority.
The Company
Lively, buzzing, busy.
Set up well from start to finish.
All sorts of training available anytime. Opportunity to have experience in other departments if you so wished.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Very appealing. I am waiting for a reply.
The Culture
There is a large intern community, with an intern committee to organize lots of events
Lived at home, but heard that it is costly.
Great.
With interns yes.
