About You
It was well organised and varied- the day started with a introduction to the Bank and a run through of the organisational structure. It was nice to be able to find out more and network with other graduates.
We felt very welcomed.
We were able to hear from a panel of 3 senior staff- this was a great opportunity to ask any questions.
Useful to help to pick which branch of economics to follow for a career.
The Company
The day had a set itinerary.
Good atmosphere and chance to network with other graduates.
N/A
We were able to hear first hand experiences from current employees. The insight day doesn't have time to look at any single graduate scheme in detail- but all of this information can be viewed on the website.
It reinforced information which is accessible on the website.
Everything Else
We were reimbursed up to £35 travel expenses.
We had a networking lunch which provided a relaxed environment to network. Staff were friendly and willing to help.
Networking lunch- see above answer.
I didn't hear too much about outside activities available at the Bank of England. I heard there is a women's coffee meeting every so often and they run some sporting activities.
It was interesting and nice to hear from current employees.
